Ariana’s Restaurant at the Lyme Inn is pleased to announce that Chef Martin will be participating in the Upper Valley Haven’s annual fundraiser, Chefs of the Valley. This is Chef’s favorite event; one he looks forward to each year, and one he has participated in ever since moving to the Upper Valley in 2008. For 2018, he will be working with Derek Rush from Perfecta Wine Company, pairing his food with some of their wines.
Each spring, chefs from the Upper Valley’s best food purveyors join together in a fundraiser to support the Haven. The event is a late afternoon gala where more than 300 guests will be able to sample cuisine prepared by these artists, listen to live music, and bid on silent auction items donated by local businesses and individuals.
Since 1980 the Upper Valley Haven has provided temporary shelter and educational programming for homeless families and adults as well as food to anyone in need. The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services. They serve over 14,500 people per year.
This popular afternoon event will be held Sunday April 29 from 4p-6:30p at the Hanover Inn. (Ariana’s Restaurant will be closed on this date.)
